The Project Raszyn Association has been running the anniversary commemoration of the Battle of Raszyn for over a decade — every year, on the third weekend of April, on the grounds of the palace-and-park complex at Falenty. The event grows year by year, and so does the list of people and institutions without whom the historical picnic could not take place.

Four cooperation paths
Field, tent, children, coffee, logistics.
Every year Falenty welcomes several thousand visitors. We need people for the children's educational stands, tourist information, materials distribution, civilian camp reenactment support, and photo and video documentation. We provide meals, a badge, insurance and a volunteer certificate.

We cooperate with reenactment groups from across Poland. Members of all registers are welcome — Army of the Duchy of Warsaw (infantry, cavalry, artillery), Austrian Imperial units of 1809 (Vukassovich, Sommariva, Mohr), as well as Saxon units under Polentz. Individual reenactors join the picnic host group. Organised groups receive a camp, fodder for horses, honour salvos and reimbursement of transport costs.

The Association does not sell advertising space and does not put up marketing banners on the battlefield. We are, however, open to cultural patronage, strategic partnership, CSR programmes and earmarked donations — for transport, insurance, picnic medical care, digital documentation and further heritage cards. We report all contributions publicly. The partner's logo is shown in the footers of printed materials and on the picnic's information panels — with respect for the gravity of the place.

We learn the most from people who are not professional historians — descendants of officers of the Duchy of Warsaw, collectors of Napoleonic militaria, members of historical societies, teachers and regional historians. If you have your great-grandfather's diary, a portrait miniature, a gorget, a letter, a photograph from the 1989 picnic — let's talk. We digitise, document, and return the original. Every source matters.

Every result of our work — 3D models, gigapanoramas, transcripts, heritage cards — is made available for free, under a Creative Commons licence. Without sign-up, without ads, without territorial limits.

The Association does not sell licences or files in any form — the digital resource never leaves the Association's infrastructure. We are funded through public grants (KPO 1420) and citizen patronage.

We treat every form of support as equal: a day of a photographer's work, a truck for the picnic, an hour of legal consultation, the loan of scanning equipment, a translation agency. Patronage is not only money — it is time and skills.

The Association's financial statements are publicly available. Every patron receives a final report on the use of funds, with photographs and a list of participants. Heritage must be accountable.
